Meet the Team: Randy Bonam
Randy came to Gainplan as the Operations Manager following a tenure at Comerica Bank. Although he attained the title Assistant Vice President, he was not sold on the internal atmosphere at the company. At Gainplan, Randy found a firm in which the employees were truly a team, came to work with a positive attitude each day, able to share a laugh from time to time, and void of corporate drama. Always thinking, Randy believes an office dog would increase the morale of the troops even more – he even volunteered his own pup, Joker. Randy and Joker are the classic story of a man and his dog; nothing can separate these two, nor would anyone want to.
A man of adventure and excitement, Randy has many hobbies outside of the office. Whether it is getting on his motorcycle and going for a ride or playing bass with his band on the weekends, there is never a dull moment. That is probably why Randy said he would love to meet Teddy Roosevelt – the 26th President of the United States. While Roosevelt’s entire life is fascinating, Randy is most intrigued by his adventures with the Rough Riders outside of the Oval Office. Teddy’s larger-than-life personality and character would be able to keep Randy on his toes – that is for sure! However, when asked where he would park his yacht (if he had one) for a year, Randy followed his heart to Chicago. As a die-hard Chicago Bears fan (we forgive him), the office ‘foodie,’ and a musician nothing sounds better to him than enjoying a year docked in downtown Chicago (with Joker of course) able to enjoy all of his favorites year around.
Tune in next month to go behind the scenes with the next Gainplanner!
